over 700,000 members. It is America's oldest and
largest grassroots environmental organization. "The North
Star Chapter is one of the Club's oldest, recently
celebrating its 39th anniversary helping to preserve and
protect the environment in Minnesota."
Minnesota Nurses Association
The
Minnesota Nurses Association is the professional
organization for Registered Nurses and speaks for our
members and for nursing to:
1) promote the
professional, economic and personal well-being of nurses
2) uphold and
advance excellence, integrity and autonomy in the practice
of nursing
3) advocate for
quality care that is accessible and affordable for patients
Minnesota Association of Professional Employees
The Minnesota Association of Professional Employees is an
organization comprised of members who are governmental
employees for whom MAPE is
the exclusive representative.
An alliance of organizations and individuals united behind a
vision for racial, social and economic justice. We are
the only permanent, multi-issue, multi-constituency
organization in Minnesota. We have 30 member
organizations, which include the largest grassroots
organizations in the state, together representing more than
350,000 Minnesotans. We also have over 6,000
individual members.

Education Minnesota,
formed in 1998 with the merger of the Minnesota Federation
of Teachers and the Minnesota Education Association, is an
organization of 70,000 educators in Minnesota, "working
together for excellence in
education for all Minnesota students."
Planned Parenthood of MN, ND, SD Action Fund

SEIU
The 2.2 million-member Service
Employees International Union
is the fastest-growing union in North America, and its
membership is among the most diverse in the labor movement.
Since 1996, 1.2 million workers in three key sectors have
united with SEIU, making it the
largest healthcare union, with members in
hospitals, nursing homes, and home care; the
largest property services union with members in
the building cleaning and security industries, including
janitors, security officers, superintendents, maintenance
workers, window cleaners, and doormen and women; and the
second largest public employee union with more
than 1 million local and state government workers, public
school employees, bus drivers, and child care providers.
Minnesota Farmers Union PAC
"Minnesota Farmers Union (MFU)
works to protect and enhance the economic interests and
quality of life of family farmers and ranchers and rural
communities. MFU is a nonprofit membership-based
organization. Membership is open to farmers and
non-farmers."
CARE-PAC (Care Providers of Minnesota)
Care Providers of Minnesota is a statewide trade association
representing no-for-profit organizations which provide
skilled nursing care, assisted living services, independent
senior housing, boarding care, intermediate care for the
mentally retarded, home health care, adult cay care, and
other alternative services for elderly and disabled persons.
Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council
The Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council is the
umbrella organization for union construction crafts. Our
jurisdictional area covers the following counties: Anoka,
Carver, Hennepin, Isanti, Kanabec, McLeod, Mille Lacs,
Scott, Sibley, Wright, Eastern portion of Sherburne, and
Western half of Dakota. We seek to ensure state of the art
training programs, livable wages, and safe working
conditions for men and women in the construction industry.
Our membership is currently approximately 17,000 workers.
